The Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Îles anounces the winners of its contest for secondary 4 and 5 students in the Gaspésie et des îles-de-la-Madeleine Region!

The Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Îles is proud to reveal the winners of its contest for Secondary 4 and 5 students in the Gaspésie et des Îles-de-la-Madeleine region.

 

First prize: Joanie Poirier, from the Polyvalente des Îles, won a $600 laptop.

Second prize: Samuel-Alexander Lippé, from the Polyvalente Mgr Sévigny in Chandler, won a $500 ASUS tablet PC.

Third prize: Lemay Bourdages, from the École secondaire Aux Quatre-Vents in Bonaventure, won a $500 INTERSPORT gift certificate.

Fourth prize: Anabel Cormier, from the Polyvalente des Îles, won a $250 Bureau Plus gift certificate.

The Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Îles thanks everyone who participated.

Inspired by the theme, My College, A Natural Place for Learning, students enrolled in Secondary 4 or 5 were invited to record a video no longer than one minute or write a text of no more than 300 words explaining why they wanted to study at the Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Îles. To be eligible, contestants had to be enrolled at schools located in the area served by the College, from Anse-Pleureuse to Matapédia, by way of Murdochville and including the Magdalen Islands.

The winning texts will be posted on College social media networks within the next few weeks.
