The Cornélius Brotherton Foundation distributes entrance bursaries totalling $9000 in 2014-2015

The Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Îles Foundation continues to carry out its mission by attributing its entrance bursaries for a sixth consecutive year. In all, $9 000 – 18 bursaries – were awarded to secondary school graduates newly admitted to their first year at one of the four Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Îles campuses.

Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Îles set to host the Hydro-Québec regional science fair finals in 2015!

The Gaspé Campus of the Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Îles, in association with the Conseil du loisir scientifique de l’Est du Québec (CLSEQ), will host the Hydro-Québec regional Science Fair finals in March 2015, an event that hasn’t been held at the Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Îles for more than 20 years. Polyvalente Antoine-Bernard in Carleton-sur-Mer hosted it in 2003.

Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Îles Adventure Tourism students present their salmon fishing research project «As the river flows»

Students enrolled in the second year of the Adventure Tourism program at the Gaspé Campus will present the results of their research on salmon fishing during Happy Hour at the Musée de la Gaspésie, on Wednesday, May 14, beginning at 5 pm.

Students, show us your entrepreneurial spirit

For the fourth year in a row, the Cornélius Brotherton Foundation of the Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Îles will be granting five bursaries to develop the entrepreneurial spirit in students. These bursaries are for students enrolled at the Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Îles.

The Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Îles signs a mobility partnership agreement with four Montréal-area Colleges

The Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Îles today announced a five-year student mobility agreement with several Montréal-area colleges. Students from Vanier College, Cégep du Vieux-Montréal, Dawson College and John Abbott College will be able to take advantage of this partnership to come and study for a term in the English Sector at the Gaspé Campus.
