Hello new and returning students,

We are happy to provide you with information concerning the beginning of classes for the 2019 fall semester. In this document you will find useful information about your registration and schedule, as well as general information.

Monday, August 19, 2019

  • 9:00 a.m.: Registration at the Cegep auditorium;
  • 9:45 a.m.: Visit of the departments;
  • 10:00 a.m.: Parent meeting with the Direction at the study hall;
  • 10:45 a.m.: Snacks and information kiosks (student life, adapted services, school organization, etc.);
  • 11:45 a.m.: Guided tour of the campus for those interested. On-site registration;
  • 13:00 p.m.: Beginning of classes.

Process to confirm your registration

Step 1: Pay your registration fees before August 5, 2019

Your registration fees have to be paid before you can get your class schedule.

You can pay:

  • by credit card via Omnivox Payment Centre module;
  • at the College in cash, by certified cheque or by debit card;
  • with a teller at your financial institution (banks and Caisse Populaire) or via your on-line-banking service.


Important: If you choose a payment method other than cash or via Omnivox, it can take up to five working days before your payment is recorded in our system.


Step 2: Download your schedule via Omnivox between Monday, august 12 at 10:00 am and Thursday, august 16 at 4:00 pm.

Schedules that have not been downloaded by then will be deactivated after 4:00 pm.

Students who did not get their schedule on time must report to the Registrar’s Office on Campus to rectify the situation and will have to pay $20 for a late fee.

Some students will get a notice to see their Academic Advisor in order to retrieve their schedule.


Modify your schedule

Make an appointment with your Academic Advisor in Room 119 (ext. 1777) after you have retrieved your schedule. You can have your schedule modified from 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 12 to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, August 16.

Your modifications must be justified.

Check in with Adapted Services

Contact Julie Labbé, special care counsellor, in office 122 (418 368-2201, extension 1441) or Catherine Savage, Adapted Services advisor (extension 1374). If you have a condition that has an impact on your studies and have the necessary medical documentation, they will be the ones to determine what accommodations the Cégep can provide you.

Financial assistance for studies

To complete your application for financial assistance, go to:

If you are entitled to financial assistance for the first time, collect your warranty certificate by accessing your file on-line, under the tab “Your File”, then click on the link “Notice”.

To ensure you receive your payment, be sure to pick up your schedule on time.

In your first week of classes, you will have to buy books and school materials; it is important to add it to your budget.

Pick up your agenda

You will received your agenda during registration. We hope that this tool will help in planning your work. It contains information about various policies that are enforced at the College, and student life.

Have your photo taken for your ID card

Students will now benefit from the digital student card. We will show you on the registration day how to generate it on your phone. The student card is valid throughout all of your studies. It is still possible to have a plastified card at the cost of $5.

Sports and extracurricular activities

Information about sports and extracurricular activities will be available when you arrive on Campus.

Locker rental

Students who wish to rent a locker can do so in Room R27-E. Only padlocks provided by the College may be used. A fee of $10 is charged per padlock, a $5 refund is given when the padlock is returned in good condition.


The Campus cafeteria is on the ground floor. You can get hot meals there for lunch. Snacks (muffins, fruits, sandwiches, etc.) are also available during business hours. Meal and coffee cards can be purchased.

Student COOP

The student COOP is on the ground floor. School and office supplies are available. You can also get snacks, sandwiches, hot and cold drinks.

Pick up your parking pass 

You have to get a parking pass in the main entrance (you will need your licence plate number) to be allowed to park your vehicle at College parking lots. You can pay for your permit with cash, by direct payment with your debit card or by cheque.

Fees: $110/year, $85/semester, $5/day or $2/hour.
